According to stepbible.org, the word “likeness” in Hebrew means similitude.
The word “fruitful”: bear fruit, be fruitful, branch off.
The word “multiply”:
be or become great, be or become many, be or become much, be or become numerous.
The word “replenish”: to fill; to fulfill, accomplish, complete
The word “living” (every living thing): soul, self, life, creature, person, appetite, mind, living being, desire, emotion, passion; that which breathes, the breathing substance or being, soul, the inner being of man.
This week, I invite you to read the Scriptures through the lens of being created in the image, after the likeness of the Trinity.
Examine the perspective that your spirit was created before your soul and body were formed in your mother’s womb. Your true identity was hidden within your mortal self to be unveiled by knowing the Trinity.
Now go back and read the Galatians verses with the revelation that your spirit is in union with the Holy Spirit.
Father, quicken our mind to know our potential is limitless as we WALK in the Spirit!
